I have been wanting a R. Brawl, I been trying to get one. Ebay is a joke, but finally I got my R. So mine is not a complete R. It doesn't come with the gyros and spinners and blocks that the complete set comes with but I don't care. The robot is all I wanted. If your a retro gamer, then R.

I bought this a couple months ago and guess what? It came with an NES and all! The zapper, the robot and all his pieces, the console, gyromite except duck hunt, but we bought that separately. Prices can be astronomical for one especially a working one so I waited and bought a good-looking one for cheap, used, that didn't work.

It holds my 3DS charging stand and is a neat collectible to show off to any gamer that comes to my place! It's a collectors item. Functionality wise, it sucks. If you really want to play with a player 2, get a friend. But I like it, I love robots and I own part of nintendo's history! Ahh R. The "Robotic Operating Buddy". I'll never forget when the Nintendo "Deluxe" came out in the 's.

Awesome games. But ROB was the biggest draw. Kids wanted it because it just looked so cool. What this is, is a relic from that time period. And I mean that in the nicest possible sense.

You had to have a degree of patience for those games that maybe a lot of kids didn't have, which makes me think it probably should've been geared towards older gamers who wouldn't think it too tedious to use. Is it worth it? I'd agree with the other reviewer in that for nostalgia's or collector's sake, maybe. But if you're looking for real enjoyment, this is over 25 years ago and games have obviously evolved a lot since then. Having said that, it really is a nice symbol of what made Nintendo stand out in the 's with more interactive games and innovative technology that warmed the 'fat lady's' vocal chords so she could sing about Aladdin's Castle's demise.

With ROB, the gun, Power Pad and numerous others Nintendo utilized a lot of the hardware from that generation and returned, somewhat, with the very successful Wii. I saw him in AVGN. This is the coolest piece of useless gaming hardware you will ever see.
